Koby Kick's Ants

History

Founded in Placerville in 1997 by Mike Kobus, Koby Pest Control has spent nearly three decades delivering dependable, high-quality pest management services to home and business owners across El Dorado County and its surrounding regions. What began as a dedicated local operation has steadily grown into a trusted regional leader, built on a foundation of honest service, deep community roots, and an unwavering commitment to customer care.

At the heart of Koby Pest Control's long-term success is its exceptional team. The company prides itself on retaining knowledgeable, experienced professionals who treat every property with the same thoroughness and respect as their own. This strong emphasis on internal culture and low employee turnover means clients enjoy familiar faces, consistent service standards, and expert solutions tailored to the unique pest challenges of the local foothills.

As the company looks to the future, it remains proudly family-owned and operated. Mike’s son, Brett Kobus, alongside his wife, Abbi Kobus, are stepping into leadership to guide the business into its next chapter. Blending decades of proven tradition with modern, effective pest control strategies, Brett and Abbi are dedicated to honoring the legacy built by Mike—keeping local homes protected, healthy, and pest-free for generations to come.
